One of the first that comes to mind is David Soloman and his amazing mid mod structures. You'll have no problem finding Harman Baldwin, take a look at their website for distinctive Claremont area homes they've designed and built. Void Design Studio has a flair for the MCM. They are not far away and a solid commercial building background too. Also, BN Design Build .
Designers
Searching for the perfect look to set your MCM Home apart? Sandi Kaneko has a eye for detail and flair for mid century. Kelly Ferm is a local favorite who will help you find that perfect item you're looking for. Want to add charm to your interior? Visit Sarah Arndt. Own an Eichler? Check out Destination Eichler for a designer that has honed her craft.
Landscaping Design/Build
Fortunately, there are design build landscapers that are local and highly engaged in the MCM style. The first is Natural earth which offers the textures and organics you need but also the hardscapes and lighting to make it all pop. Visit Treats Landscaping who has been building since 1988 and Jonescape in Montclair. There is also EPTD Design who has a pedigree in commercial work in Claremont and with a number of residential projects.
If you want to go outside the city limits there is Alan Bernstein. And Architerra Design Group and Steven Billings Landscape Architecture each of these are part of the American Society for Landscape Architects and carry impressive portfolios.
Furniture
Start your search with Modern for all in Upland where you'll find chairs tables and specialty pieces among the period lamps, artwork and sculpture. A true treasure trove of finds. There's Not Another Mob Snob in Riverside that has refurbished pieces to complete any Mid Mod Decor. Simply Mod travels the world to find authentic Sandinavian furniture. They're one to keep an eye on and are right next door in San Dimas. An amazing selection of modern bar-stools and furniture at Brage Living Furniture in Montclair that is worth an afternoon browse.

Lighting
No better place to start than Moonshine lighting for a custom light fixture that inspires your imagination. For something a little more off the shelf there is Danish Modern LA in Commerce. Lighting in Style is nearby and as always Lamps plus which does have a good selection of popular Mid Century styles.

Its not a bad start to drop by Quality Fireplace and BBQ in Claremont. If your looking for something more exotic the Halo Fire Torch is a new twist on the tiki torches for the back yard. If you like ice with your fire, Modernrustic in Rancho Cucamonga designs glass fire pits. Vortex also makes a larger selection fire pits. Finally, if you need repairs or masonry work on your fireplace, there is no substitute for Boston Brick and Stone. Whether is a new fireplace of restoration, they are simply the best in the Greater LA area.
